Penguin Island

Had a trip to Penguin Island

Took us an hour to reach there by public transport. (Bus- train- bus)

Its not hard to reach tourist spot in WA when they have intelligent public transport + google maps

Very nice and cooling weather in the morning and sunny during noon.

Perfect weather for the Sunday getaway in the island

Direction and sign board can be found along the way

Arrive at Shoalwater which is the jetty get on ferry to penguin island

We purchased the ticket with the package of unlimited ferry, penguin feeding, sealion + glass bottom boat cruise @ $33 /pax

5 minutes ferry to reach the island

Sadly, penguins are MIA

only seen seagulls all over the island

We came at the wrong timing when penguins are busying building their nest for breeding in June

In the month of February, visitors will have the chance to see wild penguin around the island

Been searching for the penguin nest when we're walking around the island

At last, we managed to spot 1 little penguin in his nest in the bushes 

=D

 Sea gulls again.

Kayak session available in the island

The package we bought includes sea lion watching.

BUT we're told that sea lion was away from the island on that day

He was in the island on the day before. 

And so we're compensated by dolphin watching.

And got cheated again on the package

It was written there 'penguin feeding' 

I thought I will have the chance to feed the penguin

However, we only get to see penguin to be feed by the staff

Jamie's Italian in Perth

I am a fan of Jamie's Oliver.
Watching him in the cooking shows
Love his cuteness and coolness when cooking.
Grandma always complain he do messy cooking as he just simply chop on the vege and chuck them in the pot. Not properly organised.

Jamie Italian was spotted on May 25 in the city with the super long queue.
I was so excited. I HAVE GOT THE CHANCE TO EAT IN JAMIE'S RESTAURANT!!!
It's hard to find spaghetti in perth city. I don't know why.

And so I had my first visit to Jamie's Italian on April 3

Always long queue.

We got there at 11am. Still have to wait for 45mins for a table for 2.

You can either wait at the bar or leave your contact number

They will call you when the table is available

Lucky we can do some shopping before lunch. :D

 Lets start with the anti-pasti (another name for entrée in italian cuisine)

seriously, in this dish i don't know how to describe on how truffle tastes like

All i got in this dish is creamy, thick, butter and cheessyy. 

totally in love with this.

Second visit was on May 5th after trip to Penguin Island
Craving for the lemon meringue pie again.

We always order entrée no matter what cuisine we are having 

don't usually do this back in Malaysia

blue swimmer crab risotto

this is nice! crab is always one of the best seafood 

but they don't have it everyday

love the flavour and rocket leaves

and lots of prawns

my vongole spaghetti

taste of lemon soury and bit of spicyness

very appetizing

craving for clams like mad in perth

what i can find here is just mussels

I want my siput and lala.

my forever love lemon meringue pie

I actually asked the waiter can I do take away order on this next time

as i don't want to queue for table when I just need the dessert

but sadly he said they don't do take away. =(

Finally done with this short post on Jamie's. 

I keep telling myself to get this done.

I need to write something on this blog or i gonna stop updating FOREVER

So I wonder is it necessary to post photos up here again??? when people has seen ur stuff on Facebook

I think i will write a post on my penguin island trip by end of this week.

Before my stupid capstone presentation on Wednesday and Final exam on June 20.

Compromise

Decisions been made.

I didn't expect it could be so different from what I have planned. 

I had overestimate everything.

Being 21.5 years old to do all these decisions are not easy. 

I suffered, trying my best to get through it.

I guess at the end, 

" home is where the heart is "

Gonna miss everyone here.
