30-Hour Famine

24,000 children die every day before their 5th birthday from preventable causes – Malaria, Pneumonia, Diarrhoea, and Complications during and after birth.

These unnecessary deaths are unacceptable, especially when proven, low-cost solutions exist.

World Vision Malaysia recognises the plight of child health and to respond, we will be focusing on the subject of Child Health for 30-Hour Famine 2011.

Our theme is “Hunger for Health!” (孩要健康,救是现在!). Together, we can make a difference by ending preventable child death.

9 July(12pm) - 10 July 2011 (6pm)

Heard about this event few years ago.
I always thought that it was only held at KL.
The real big one with lots of local artist attending.

Penang had the first 30 Hour Famine DIY camp last 3 years ago.
And this year, we have 11 DIY camps all over Penang.
(Including INTI Penang)
